Summary:   

The successful candidate for this position must live within the territory.  This full-time, employee sales representative position is primarily responsible for selling products to businesses and responsible for all brand activities within the territory by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet sales goals.

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of product offering and market dynamics.

  • Research and evaluate prospective dealers.

  • Make outbound lead calls and follow-up calls to customers by telephone and e-mail to sell products and services.

  • Develop negotiating strategies by acquiring a thorough understanding of dealers' business needs and goals.

  • Understand and maintain awareness of customer risk/accounts receivable reporting and work collaboratively with the inside credit team.

  • Present new product and program sales presentations to dealer network.

  • Establish and maintain network of key influencers within territory.

  • Monitor company policies and programs within territory.

  • Coordinate company play tests for new product and market research.

  • Coordinate on-court demo/consumer play test activities.

  • Work with dealers to successfully resolve concerns or disputes.

  • Track inventory levels with both dealers and Babolat warehouse.

  • Coordinate and perform customer/product training.

  • Build and maintain excellent rapport and customer relationships.

  • Prepare field reports for management and business reviews for dealers and customers.

  • Efficiently and independently plan travel and work schedules.

  • Travel to and represents brand at relevant trade shows.

Profile

Qualifications / Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, and two to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and sell.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

  • Strong computer proficiency using Microsoft Office.

  • Strong overall understanding and experience using connected/smart devices.

  • Tennis/business industry experience including retail, sales, stringing and/or playing experience is highly preferred.

  • Extensive travel is required.
