Main mission

This position is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing/shipping inventory in the warehouse.


Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Unload trucks.  Convey items from receiving area to storage or other designated area.

  • Record amount of materials or items received.

  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code, location code.

  • Update product locations in computer systems.             

  • Open bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

  • Move product from back stock to pick area to keep pick full of product to facilitate a quick order picking process.

  • Use handheld computer/scan gun to pack orders. Process packages through weight check station and seal cartons.

  • Record amount of materials or items distributed.

  • Load trucks.

  • Count items in warehouse when necessary to keep an accurate inventory control.

  • Breakdown cardboard, sweep floor, and empty trash daily to keep a clean and organized workplace.

  • Build pallets from boxes of product and shrink-wrap pallets.


  • High school diploma; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Forklift licensing and/or certification is required.

  • Excellent oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity, and continued willingness to take initiative a must

  • Ability and willingness to stand and walk long distances. 

  • Ability and willingness to regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
