Financial Controller (VIE) - CDG082022

As part of the development of our recent Chinese subsidiary, we are looking for a VIE to contribute to the establishment of the subsidiary management control. As a real Business Partner, you will work in close collaboration with the China Director and the Group Finance Department based in France.

 
Position based in Shanghai - VIE one year renewable.

Your main tasks will include :

Analyze and reporting

• Analyze monthly business performance by studying the differences of results against budgets and objectives

• Write activity summaries

• Design activity dashboards (B2B / B2C)

• Establish and improve management procedures and optimization of financial information flows; ensure reliability

• Produce monthly or quarterly reports and dashboards

• Report to the group management control the financial elements and analyzes

Forecasts

• Conduct quarterly forecasts, budget and strategic plan

• Follow the operating costs of the area

• Budget and monitor investment gaps, help calculate ROI for major investments

Closing

• Ensure good monthly management of accounts with the accounting department (risk analysis, provisions, monthly and annual closings)

• Analyze deviations, identify risks and opportunities and suggest corrective actions

• Valuate, depreciate and analyze the actions of stocks on a monthly basis

• Coordinate and participate in physical inventories

Finance Business Partnering / Group Missions

• Be close to the business, understand their activity and be attentive to their needs, be solution-oriented

• Assist in operational management teams: reporting, dashboards, management tools, KPI

• Maintain the analytical structure in connection with the group's guidelines and ensure good analytical allocation of costs within the subsidiary

• Ensuring internal control, set up the group procedures and enforce them

• Guarantee reliability and improve the Finance Information System

Finance Business Intelligence – Subsidiaries

• Guarantee the reliability and improve the Information System (Finance in particular)

• Develop decision support tools: in particular Power BI for visualization

• Be the Finance Referent on the deployment of ERP / Accounting: SAP by Design

With a higher education such as a business school or a master's degree with a specialization in Finance / Management Control / Audit or Information System, you have 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar function with an international dimension (ideally in Asia).

You are proficient in IT management tools and an ERP (spreadsheets, database, decision support tools, etc.). Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics, Cognos Business Intelligence and SAP by Design would be a plus.

Fluency in English is required to be successful in this position. Fluency in another language would be a plus.
